It's been a hot summer and after a busy day gardening and working around the house, there is nothing better than the satisfaction we get from our work. We can't imagine having a backyard without trees, shrubs or perennial garden. We treat our backyard like our private resort, where we can relax and enjoy the nature.
Lilies are great for borders and perennial gardens. They are low maintenance and come in variety of colors.

We planted this grape vine last summer and it's amazing how fast it's been growing.
When we bought the house, I thought it was a weed!
Previous owner started the perennial garden. We just added some new perennials to the collection. The way this perennial garden is designed, something is always blooming from spring until fall.
We put some shrubs where tomatoes used to be.
Pond was our biggest landscaping project and it's our favorite thing in our backyard.
Lilly by the grape vine
Hosta is a great perennial, doesn't require any maintenance! It's great for borders and flower beds.
This perennial flower bed used to have stone border. We removed it to give it a more natural look.
